About Us...

We, the M^cCormick's, are an odd bunch from the Ottawa Valley, eh!  Willis and wife Eleanor head up the family. Daughter, Pam lives with Norm Racine with her daughter Taylor Leigh Cholette and son Riley Joseph Racine.  As well as a daughter Willis and Eleanor have a son Jeff who is married to Joan with children Joshua James McCormick and Adele Margaret McCormick.  Willis, worked for Agriculture Canada for 37 years and is now retired and spends most of his time at the barn.  Eleanor, retired as well, was a Public School teacher at the  Blossom Park Public School.  Taylor "Monkey" Cholette is currently in High School, her hobbies include horsen' around with Papa Willy.  Jeff is an Oracle DBA,  (computer programmer),  for Public Works and Government Services, Canada and spends most of his spare time with his children, coaching hockey, soccer and softball, at the barn or trying to keep up to his wife, Joan, who is an Analyst for Brogan Inc.   Josh plays softball, soccer and hockey as well as show ponies and attends Kars Public School.  Adele dances and plays T-Ball, she too attends Kars Public School. The McCormick's have been showing ponies for over 30 years.  The McCormick's started their small hackney pony breeding program with their first pony Ridgetop's Likity Split in April of 2002  .  Willis is past president of the Canadian Hackney Society and the Ottawa Valley Light Horse Association and Jeff is presently 2nd Vice President of the Canadian Hackney Society and is also a Past President of the Ottawa Valley Light Horse Association!.
